Kids & Food:nutritious tiffin box

i would like to know if anyone can give me tips regarding what should be given in a tiffin of a 12 yr old . It should take only 1/2 hour as thats about the time that i get and it should be wholesome and nutritious food.also what preparations can be done a day earlier so that it becomes easier to do things.

Hi,
This is something I do when I have very little time to cook.
Mix sum maida with water to the consistency of dosa paste, add 1 egg and sugar and a drop of vanila essence. Make dosas out of this.

hi !!
I would like to share my son's fav. food
green Dosa. It is easy to make,very testy & nutritious also.And you can do preparation one day in advance

Ingredients:
1 Cup Mug (Green)Dal
1 Cup Udad Dal
2 Cup Rava
Green chilly (according to test)

Preparation:Soak Dal & Rava separatly for 2 hrs.
Grind Dal & green chilly,mix with Rava.
Put this mixture for 4-5 hrs for furmentation.
Make Dosa on with this mixture. spread some Amul butter or cheese (as your son like) on one sode of dosa.
This will test good without chutney also.
You can store the furmented mixture in refigerator & use it ay time

thanks for replying so promptly . but i do make upma, sheera, poha, shevaya sheera, chapatti,khicdhi but i wanted to know something different and new which can be made in the morning.

U can make upma or chapaties or aloo pakkodas and give him he will like it
