Name: first timer

Hello All,
I am from Feb 2005 board and would like some help from you seniors.

Well our baby didn't allow to let us know if its a boy or girl during the Ultrasound. So now I want your help in choosing the neutral colors. Could anyone give me the list of colors which goes for boy and girl. I am tired to purchasing white and light yellow.
Are the following colors neutral
1. Red
2. Orange
3. Sky Blue or light blue
4. Green (light or dark)
5. Brown

Thank You

Subject:  Everything except pink

Hi!
I bought all colors except pink because it would be too confusing to see a boy in pink besides my husband wouldn't let me do it but blue is okay for girls. I went with themed colors, like blue and yellow for all bath essentials, I figure thats pretty natural color for bath products. I have quilt and sheets in green, lavender, yellow, teddy bear brown, blue denim.
To satisfy my craving for pink, I went with a peach,lt.green and yellow check pattern blanket. I thought pattern is masculine even though the colors are feminine. I personally am flexible with colors as long as others don't confuse my girl for a boy or vice-versa. I thought that any cute pink flower top can make demin short girly. So, I bought a lot of stuff of neutral colors keeping in mind how I can make it apt for a girl or a boy later. Also don't buy all your stuff in new born or 0-3mon sizes. Wait for your baby shower before you spend in non-essentials, you'll get a lot of those as gifts.
Hope this helps you, I haven't delivered yet but would let you know if my tricks worked once the baby is here.
Take care
SC
