Due Date Club December 2005:Enfamil or Similac

Hi all,

You must have came across this question 100s of times.....but I am going to ask again.....which brand of formula do you all prefer, Enfamil Lipil with Iran or Similac Advance? Both with Dha & Rha. People say they are like Pepsi & Coke depends upon which taste you prefer. I gave Similac to my daughter Suhani, who is now 2.5 yrs but wanted to check before I introduce formula for my son Tanish who is 4 months now. I am planning to introduce it by 6 months. Right now I am exclusively breast feeding him.

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks in advance,

Reshma J.

Hi Suhanya,
I was so glad to read your reply....I thought no one will ever reply...Thanks.
First of all congratulations! What is your son's name. My son Tanish is now 4.5 months. I am a maharashtrian based in New Jersey. Rite now Taniah is only on BM. I am planning to EBF till 6 months and then introduce solids. Welcome back to the group. I had a normal delivery. How about you? How is your health and fitness?
Keep in touch.
TC & bfn,
Reshma.

Very good doctor
Hi,

I delived a baby boy in March 2009. I consulted Dr.Chitra Ramamurthy during my pregnancy cycle. She' s one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Not many people know about her. She handled the entire process in a very professional manner. I used to visit her clinic in Jayanagar 3rd block. She is very caring and affable. She says what to do and what not to do. ... - Sandhya Rao [View Message]

hi
So long as your baby is feeding, that' s all that really matters. These days, formulas are packed with everything the baby needs, and although it is never as good as breast milk, it' s perfectly fine. It sounds like maybe what you are missing is the bonding that breast feeding provides? My first child had both breast and bottle milk for the first 6 months, when I had a mis... - Jhumri [View Message]
