hi,

itching is common in pregnancy, but if it is severe, u MUST inform ur doc coz it cud be a sign of increased bile in the body that can cause pre term labour in some women.

Dear Shanti,

Sorry to hear that u r having itching ....u know, I have this itching at 15-16th week... I had this itching on upper part of the body, thighs and some times on the belly...and had sleepless nights..

I tried most of the lotions like Aveeno, Oatmeal bath..nothing helped me much..then we went to dermatologist, which was referred by my GYN...Anyway,she has given me a STERIOD cream and one antihistamtic tablets...I put this cream and had this tablet for one day..it went...I thank god for that..Anyway , why dont u talk abt this to some skin specialist...? and did u talk to GYN abt this...? Hope I have given some info to u...it will be better in coming days ....as my GYN told , once baby is delivered , it will go off automatically...so hang in there..let me know..Take Care...

Dear Shanti,
If you are living in a place where the weather must be dry, use lots of moisturing lotions not just in the night. Hope it gives you relief.

hello editor,
hypertension is high blood pressure, normal blood pressure level is 140/90 but if blood pressure is more than that then its not good for pregnancy, so try to keep your blood pressure under control.... - bhavika [View Message]
