Aches and Pains:Back Pain

Hi,
My Daughter is 1 year old now. I am suffering from Back pain.It started about 4 months after my delivery (C-Section). Initially it was very mild and rare. But nowadays backpain is there daily, but only in the early morning (before I get up). Once I get up and start doing any work, it disappears. Is it because of the epidural I took during my delivery (C-Section)? Could anyone tell me the cause for this?

Thanks In Advance.

In take of calcium tablets definitely helps you. As breast feeding mother looses lot of calcium, in take of calcium tablets increases your calcium content there by reducing your back pain. All the best.

Are there food that Indian or Gujarati women eat to stave off back pain. I have heard that they eat Methi to produce Milk, warming the back with warm coals, I have heard not to eat rice for 6 weeks...I would be interested to hear from anyone that know something about this...also is it true that if you eat rice, you will end up gaining weight and not be able to lose it?

Hi!

Suggest you go see a doctor for advice. Ease into an exercise routine or yoga that involves exercises that stretch your back muscles. Watch your posture and how you sit. Don' t stress yourself too much. And consult a doctor as soon as possible

Andominal Pain
I had a normal delivery five days back. I started having abdominal pains two days back. It was unbearable. I consulted with my gynec who just gave me pain medicines. When i asked her the reason, she told me it is due to uterus contracting back to its normal size. I am still having pains. I dont know what to do....... - Shubhangi [View Message]
