Speech:Speech not clear. Plz advise

My son is 14 months old. He tries to tell me something with so mcuh expression and pointing towards the subject, but not with proper words. He says, thisss... theee thaaa.. He doesnt even say Amma. How do I make him speak with the proper words? Plz help.

Hi Vijaya,
My kid is 2 years and she still talks in this way only. Each kids are different and they will take their own time in all the activities.
One positive indication from your specification is your child is pointing to object and trying to talk. It is just a matter of time he will start calling mom and dad. For complete speech it will take time. So sit back and relax and enjoy his kiddesh language. :-)

Our 28 months old boy is not speaking simple 2 or 3 word sentences yet. He speaks a few words such as mama, papa, aunty etc but definitely not more than 10. My son is less than 4 and has been diagnosed to be on the autism spectrum. He is non-verbal. We are taking him for OT and ABA/speech therapy.
