Routine Tests:Archie and other friends, ? about USS

Hi
I had my 1st Ultrasound scan yesterday. According to dates I am 17 weeks. But the technician said that I was 16weeks 4days. I saw the baby sucking its thumb and nodding its head. I am sooo happy.
She saw the head, lips, 4chambers of the heart, stomach. everything was normal and proportional. But couldn't make out the kidneys etc because its too small. Told me 2 come back after 2 weeks. Also it seemed that I had a mild BraxtonHicks contraction during scan.

I am confused about doing another scan. Is it really necessary. I am of the idea that the ultrasonic waves become very much audible inside uterus. And I thought I saw the baby trying to cover its ears. I don't want to cause any disturbance to the baby.
And is a 4day change in due date much to get concerned about?
Please advice.
Thanks for reading.

Rwitika,
No worries on number of ultrasounds, one can have as many as required.

Your baby did not respond to wave to cover ears, it was it's movement style.

There is no reason to worry on EDD difference as long as the difference is less than 14 days.

Since you did not get clear picture of Kidney, I would recommend a repeat of ultrasound. The reason most ultrasounds for anamoly scan are done around 20 weeks is to avoid any repeat due to organ size or similar reasons.

you should be concern free.
