Hi All,

Looks like our board is suddenly getting inactive, possibly everyone is busy preparing for the D-day or busy enjoying with parents/inlaws.
Let's try to keep in touch with a few notes to each other.
Here is my update.....I have a doc's appt tomorrow, I dont know if they will check me for dilation though. One thing I do notice is that my stomach seems to feel hard in the abdomen area quite often, and it feels like the baby's body parts pushing against my skin. I rub my belly then, and it kinda softens out. I have not had any regular pattern of contractions except on Saturday night when I had pains for about 20 min and then it just disappeared, so I concluded that they are Braxton Hicks saying hello.
My parents are here, so the pampering at home is non-stop....I cant stop smiling about it. Parents surely make the world go round! I am still working and intend to do that till I actually \";pop\";, but let's see how that plan goes :-)

Hope all of u r fine.Well i just had my visit today,completed 38wks dr says anytime in the next 2 wks.My dr doesn't do an internal at every visit is this the same with all of u.She said if i have any contractions she will do.
Since getting up this morning I had slight backpain&pain all over but more in my lower abd just nagging not bad pain.Looks like false labour other than that iam fine.My baby has been moving less&iam not able to monitor the #of movements she said if i want i cld get an NST&AFI done so i said ok just to make sure baby is ok.Will let you'll know how it goes.
How r the baby's movements for all of you?
Hoping to hear from the rest of you take care!! Radhika replied. Am fine..just lost in work. no pain no discomfort..last visit was at 1cm dilated...no progress between 36th to 37th..lets see what the doc says this week..
Think all are impatient with not having much progress..or are in progress and no time..:)
I hope we drop in a word once a month after delivery ..don't think will happen..is it already time to say bye?
Take care everyone..don't think about it too much, maybe if we all relax, baby will be out soon. i assume everyone is asking u still pregnant at this stage, i get it a lot at work..\";still here\"; comments mostly since people losing bet they kept of the estimated date..

Hope you are doing good.I think october moms are very tired now.On monday i posted a message on the board to know how our girls are doing.But only 3 replied for it.Please girls...update about you atleast once in a week so that we may know about each others health.
About me...
I had my doctor appt on monday and she said that iam doing good.She will do and internal exam coming monday.Today i am starting my 38th week:-).I have back pain sometimes and today i having a mild pain in my vagina when i walk.Iam eagerly waiting for that big day.That's all from my side.

Yes certainly looks like each one of us is busy preparing for the D Day. I am happy for your and envy you for having yoru parents over to pamper yo. I do have my in laws around but you know it is certainly not like having your mom. Even though I am quite close to her but there are formalities that is expected from me which is difficult to cope at this point of time.

Anyway, how far along are you? I am on my 39th week , just about a week to go.. I just hope the little one arrives on time so that I wouldn't have to go through induction and all sorts of things. Lets see.. Meanwhile, my best wishes to all the October Moms. Do keep posted as it happens.
