Hi all,
My baby developed some rash since last couple of days. I took her to the pediatrician today. Doc said its eczema & to keep her skin as moist as possible. I came home & then was reading abt eczema. & now i am really worried after reading all the articles on the net.
Anyone has any knowlege abt infant eczema. does it cure or will it stay forever. I am feeling really bad for my lil one.I hope it doesnt get too serious.
Any tips also would help abt what I should avoid or what I should be doing.
Thanks in advance
Meghana

i am motherof three, youngest is five weeks old.my both sons had this skin problem after birth, which started after using this johnson baby oil and soap.after stoping its use there skin improved .i always give homepathy for any ailments so if you believe in it try homeopathy.it realy works as my nephewwho was born in USA,had this dry eczema problem, they tried every treatment available there ,finally he came here at the age of eight months with eczema in theadvanced stage.wth in three months he was cured and it has not come back.he is now 5 yrs old and back in USA.try to avoid using any skin ointments containg steroids as they suppress the eczema and lead to respiratory infections.so my advice to you is to find a good seasoned homepath and give your child homepathy as it will cure eczema permanently and save him from any further problems.i myself use homepathy for all my children and it really works.
hope you will find my suggestion useful.

Very good doctor
Hi,

I delived a baby boy in March 2009. I consulted Dr.Chitra Ramamurthy during my pregnancy cycle. She' s one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Not many people know about her. She handled the entire process in a very professional manner. I used to visit her clinic in Jayanagar 3rd block. She is very caring and affable. She says what to do and what not to do. ... - Sandhya Rao [View Message]

So long as your baby is feeding, that' s all that really matters. These days, formulas are packed with everything the baby needs, and although it is never as good as breast milk, it' s perfectly fine. It sounds like maybe what you are missing is the bonding that breast feeding provides? My first child had both breast and bottle milk for the first 6 months, when I had a mis... - Jhumri [View Message]
