I have just recently got into this msg board and it's great to see all of u keeping this so active.
Well, I am expecting my baby in another 10 days and as much as I am thrilled to hold the baby , I cant seem to find the patience anymore inside me.
Sleepless nites, and cord wories ( more so after reading all the cord problems) is making me very anxious.

My baby weighs around 3.3 kilos as per the scan test last monday and the doc was telling me that it's a pretty gud growth. The baby's head is not engaged yet, but walking to get the baby's head engaged is a good idea.

Surprised to read abt mom's walking for 2 hrs...i can't strech myself for ,ore than 45 mins.

Well , is there anyone out there having pigmmentation problems. I have this \";dark preg. mask\"; on my face and i am hoping it will fade after delivery. Is there anything I can do to lighten my skin meanwhile. I look a trash can!!

vidya avi replied. Hey Vidya, 3.3 kgs is almost 7 pounds and that is great indeed.... and like Simmi said, walking will surely help your baby's head get engaged...
so we should all try and walk even if we cant be superwomen like Arshiya and do two 45 min walk in a day..

and I do have a dark cover all over my neck and shoulders...and I haven't done anything to relieve it... hoping for it to disappear after delivery..
one of my cousins had it all over her face and it did go away a week after she delievered...so dont worry about it... like Simmi said, once your little one is out, you will surely have that new mommy glow and this darned pigmentation will be history.... Hang in there....

I look a mess too....and I spend minimum time in front of the mirror..

The Cord issue is worrisome to all of us...but all we can do is keep the faith and stay positive and hope for the best..

Good luck ... Simmi replied. Hi Vidya. Good to know that the baby's growth is good. I am hoping to keep walking to get baby's head engaged, let's hope it works. Even I can't do more than 30 to 45 mins, but every little helps, I'm sure.

I do recall someone having pigmentation problem but I think it does lighten after delivery. U get loads of pigmentation creams. I do recall someone mentioning one called no more marks, which was very effective, but that was in India.

Since we are in the last stage of pregnancy, even I look a mess, meaning, very tired, face and hands and feet all swollen up. Hair is not looking great and so overall, the concept of beauty is down the window for now. But don't worry, another 10 days and u will have ur bundle of joy and ur happy hormones will get the glow back on your face.

I know it is tough coping with the cord worries but we all are trying to be positive and I'm sure all will go well with our babes.
