Baby Issues:No separate room

I am a little confused by this article. You have said make child sleep alone but in my house that is not possible. We are joint family in two bedroom house and we have only one bedroom for ourselves. My daughter also sleeps with us. It is very difficult for us to move her in another room and I do not know what to do now. She is very much used to sleeping with us. I think that I will be very difficult for us to make her sleep without us. Please tell me what to do.

The point of the article is to make children sleep in their own bed. Even if your daughter sleeps in your room, she should have her own bed to sleep in. You have not mentioned how old your daughter is though so I can' t be specific. I can suggest you one more thing. You have mentioned that you stay in a joint family. So if you can ask your in-laws to make your daughter sleep in their room if they do not mind. When I was a two year old I remember that I used to sleep with my grandmother and my parents used to sleep in their bed room. Then I continued to sleep with my grandparents till I was eleven year old and later on I decided to sleep in drawing room as our house was very small.

I am having problem with my 3 months old son’s habit of sleeping in cradle only.
When he gets sleepy ….he cries too much… I try to make him sleep in my hand or on bed but in vain.. have to put him in cradle
Because of these I am not able to go out station or where cradle is not available.
I want to get rid cradle habit of my son.
Pls advise/suggest
