u can try applying pure ghee with very little salt- on her chest & cover with light cotton cloth & then dress her. keep the room warm for 2 hrs after applying then gradually decrease temperature.
Also, can give her some honey -if u have already started.
This had helped my daughter. Also, if u get some vaikunth powder - I don't know where would u get - may be some ayurvedic shop - vaikunth powder can be applied very little after bath.
take same precaution - as we would do for ourselves - no curds - no cold food - prefer to give warmer foods - more water
may be she is teething as my daughter just had cold when she cut her first tooth. so, don't worry - within 5days all should be fine.
love to her,

Arti replied. as it also spreads moisture and instead of warm vapors spreads moisture at room temperature. I think humdifier is infact better in the hot weather. How is Trisha now?
chaitra replied. Hi,
In the process of squeezing the garlic & taking the lumps out, only a little amt will be left in the spoon. I add some more hindmilk since it'll be thicker. I don't know abt the bad taste but I give this as a medicine which works for her.
Don't worry too much abt cold. They have to go thru this, only then they will be stronger & more immune. As they say, when u have cold,it will be there for seven days(without any medicine). If u give medicine, it will be there for one week. Whatever we do is only to make them breathe better. Again,I just wrote what I gave to my little one & how she reacted to that. I always try these grandmas medicines first before going to the doc's or giving over the counter medicines.

Arti replied. If she is sneezing I would stop any food which may make her feel cold - yogurt is one of those. Also may be you misinterpretaed what I said, I didn't make Arjun eat Garlic rather I added it to the vegies, dal etc I ate during that time as I was home when he was not well, and as you know when mom is home there is no escape, its like why should we drink dairy milk when cow is there:) Arjun is still very much interested in breast feeding and shows no signs of self weaning.
Hey, if you haven't got the vaprorizer, go and get one dear its very useful I feel even for us. It'll serve dual purpose, keep her moist maintained and soothe her too.

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
