Hi Sheeja,
I feel for Trisha, poor baby. Its hard on those innocent creatures to have any kind of suffering and harder for us to see them suffer.
When Arjun got his first cold I was way too horrified but we survived. How? well with the help of a warm vaprorizer and a nose bulb. I used to put some vicks drops in vaporizer - just one or two and had it running in his room specially when he was sleeping. I also used to put some vicks drops on his clothes and clean the nose blockage by nose bulb before each feed so that he can breath comfortably and have his milk and food without any discomfort.
Dietary change I introduced for consecutive two days when he got cold was to have Garlic. It took him exact 7 days to totally recover but all this made those days pass for him and us without much trouble. He became playful just after day two of his cold because of this.
If Trisha has runny nose, please make sure that she is not short on fluids as runny nose means fluid loss so make sure she is well hydrated and doesn't get fever by taking precautionary mesaures.
I hope she gets better soon. Don't forget to give her lots of special attention, love, hugs and kisses and lots of reassurance during this time - I am sure you would:)

Take care

Hi Sheeja,
For runny nose, i gave my baby 1/2 an inch of garlic crushed & squeezed with 1 sp of breastmilk(throw away the lumps ). It worked like magic for her.

Sheeja,
Most likely trisha is facing some allergy, which is absolutely fine. Because pollen count on tree is high at this moment and this is the time of year when people get allergy. This should not be a concern.
However if she gets fever and loose motions/or vomits signifies some viral/bacterial infection and pediatric intervension is needed. Otherwise she will get better.

Should you get too concerned, you can give a call to her ped and ask if you can give her infants tylenol for cold.

She would be fine.

Also a teething possibility but just with runny nose is less likely, on the otherhand can't rule out as each baby is different.

You can sleep her on tummy while putting pillow under to raise her head, this way she will be able to breath better.

Wait for a few days see if it subsides. Yu can use saline drops and also when you have a shower take trisha int the steam...she can have anything to eat and drink maybe waorn her water or juice before she drinks it. She maybe teething too sometimes you can have runny nnose due to that

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
