It is important for kids to develop good habits like spending time on homework and chores. It can be challenging to set time aside for responsibilities when school schedules demand so much time. The challenge for parents is working good habits within so much school schedule shuffling that inevitably goes on. For the parents, good judgment is required to determine how and when kids can fulfill their responsibilities around the house.

Parents are the best role models for the kids. Sometimes by just observing what parents do, children automatically learns good things from them. Start with eating habits and keeping their things in place to start with. Obedience is the key when it comes to disciplining your kids.

I agree with Sanjida. It is very necessary for parents to practice good habits on their own first to teach good habits to children. If parents do not follow good habits, children will never learn good habits. In fact parents should leave all their bad habits so that their children do not follow these bad habits.

It is very necessary to teach good habits to children as they reflect in their adulthood. It is very necessary to teach good habits at an early age as it is very difficult for children to learn good habits at the later stage. Therefore, teaching good habits to children at right age is a must.

Good habits are inherited by children if parents follow and practice good habits in their day-to-day life. Children should be grown up in a well disciplined environment so that parents do not teach them good habits but children learn good habits automatically.
