Hello! I am in my 13th week. The color of my neck area is getting a little darker. Does anybody has the same condition? or anybody know why this happens?

people usually say that when ur neck area darkens there r chances that ur having a boy baby.though not scientifically proven .

Hi Ruma,
I am from Singapore and now in my 19th week.
i dont have the problem of darkening of neck area. but it happens many a times during pregnancy.
so u need not worry.
anyways i can tell u a few things that u can do to lessen it.
since i am a beautician and a cosmetologist, i can assure u that if u cleanse ur neck area with a milk cleanser or even plain milk will help.
and scrub ur neck area twice a weel lighly with oatmeal and yoghurt.
try this.
