Dear All,
Does an ivf-icsi treatment start with birth control pills. My doc has adviced me to have 20 of the pills(IRRESPECTIVE OF MY PERIOD DAYS) before i start injuction.
Any experianced please let me know how the whole process goes about? should i visit hospital everyday till ET?
Is complete bed rest required after ET?

even i was given those pills for down regulation n am waiting for my period.just be positive n hv faith. in my earlier ivf i was told to rest until preg check(5days bed rest) i did it still it failed so this time i will fly back after 5-7days. Monica Sahani replied. HI UK,

Yes, even i was given these tablets, and after these Tab r over, you will have your periods in 2-3 days,

After ET Transfer i was given 4 hours rest in Hospital and later i travelled back my home by Car which was 25 Min Drive. But yes there is Bed Rest required after ET Transfer. Intial 3-4 days you just to lie-down on bed, You can just get for Toilet, and at the time of food. after 4 days you can walk inside the house, But no Travel, No Household work is advised. No to heavy Objects lifting, Avoid having Tea-coffee, No Hot Baths. Dont Bend on Floor, after ET transfer you need to have regular Injections at home until your Pregnancy blood Test is done.
