I am a working woman, reach back home by 7:30pm only. Then sit with my son to do his homework and cook dinner. My son is 8 & a half years old. He is always angry and demanding too. he keeps complaining that i don' t play with him or give time to him. he is always annoyed with me. he is becoming very impatient now a day. what do i do? Ravina Singh replied. Try your best and spend more time with him. Make him understand that you are unable to spend time with him and it is not made intentionally. Hope he understands that well. Or try to change your working hours or place or organization that will help you to spend more time with him.

Since you have not commented on what kind of a job you are in or for how long have you been working it will not be a clear assessment of things based on your post. you may recieve better advice only if you share more about your job profile & how much tiem have you been spending with yor kid as a mother rather than just beoing a tuition teacher. your son is 8.5 & with your post loks like there have been very little emotional investment from your side in your relationship. you wil need to spend more time with your son & be his friend rather than being an elder or a parent. live his times with him, do what he likes to do, play his games, watch his tv shows, accompany him to the playground when he goes to play with his friends (occassionally, as time permits) there is alot of emortional investment that you need to do in order to reap good returns in terms of good relation & responce from you son. I am not trying to be prohetic but you surely need to revisit your priorities & reset them. Happy parenting..:))
