Due Date Club October 2003:Dr's appmnt

Today morning i had my normal Dr appmnt,everything was fine,chkd my cervix its now 2cm dilated and baby's head is also down,heart beat was normal and i didn't knew that last time they did my GBS test which is negative.Its seems my baby is big and now my worry is to have a normal delivery and not C-section as generally if the baby is big chances are there that we might have to go for a C-section.This is my latest update.
Frnds pls pray for my normal delivery.

How exciting !!!

Hi Uma ,
Really glad to know that your GBS is normal . If you are already 2 cms dilated it means .... you are getting close . Wow !! Pls dont worry about the delivery method its not really in our hands .... just want you and baby both healthy and smiling !!!

Wow Uma

good for you atleast your body has started showing signs of labour.Here iam in week 38 no signs as yet.Dr has asked me to walk well to help in labour.Had a blood test yesterday&my GBS is negative too.Baby is moving actively I have heard that just before labour baby's movements decrease too.Take care...

Hi Uma,

Good to know that u r 2cm down and ur GBS was fine.Don't worry about c-section ,what will be in the fate will be done.The thing is whatsoever is the delivery baby and the mommy should be fine.:)
Hey I want my delivery to be soon as I can't bear this itch any more.Hope i also have my delivery soon .My internal is on Monday .Let's see what the doc. says.

Good to know that everything is OK.When u are dilated that means labor can be anytime soon.
I am right here.Seems like 99% I am going to go beyond my due date.No progress yet.Even 2 weeks back my doc said that my baby was nearly 8 pounds..I am not concerned as often the ultrasounds are not 100% accurate.When the times comes I shall know .
So don't worry ,often predictions about the baby's size,weight is not accurate and many women deliver 10-11 pounds vaginally.

So its all in the hands of mother nature .

Hey Uma, congrats on passing the GB test.... not too long for you mommy... 2cms down ...8 to go... :)

Good luck with everything..and dont worry about the C-section.. think postive and it will all work out just fine..
