i'm wrting ths to girls who have completed ay least 5 years of marriage and r satisfied wth it or thinkin t is a succesful marriage

friends i want to know how u made it? how did u win hubby's heart? how is he now? did u have any in law [problem? what all thngs u guys have gone through? please share it with us, so we also can follow some. Mehek replied. I am happily married for 10 years with 2 kids. I had a love marriage with my husband but that is the not the reason for the success of our marriage.

1. The first factor is that we do not live with my in-laws. I have a very good relationship with my MIL because from the first day I am the boss of my house and even when they visit us she still respects my views and the way I run my house just like I respect hers when we visit them. I think that is a very rare quality that my MIL which I really admire about her. She is probably like this because she did not live with her in-laws and when her son left home she could let go.

2. As far as my husband and my relationship goes we are very open with each other in all matters.

3. Being humourous in a relationship is very important. The ability to laugh at yourself and make fun of each other in a nice way is important.

4. In this point I can only speak of my husband but he likes my head strong nature. If we have fights I don't just sit quietly I also give it back to him. He says he finds that very attractive that I can fight for my rights and if I am right I am right no matter what...I will not just sit and cry.

5. Kids bring you very close too, especially when both parents play an active role in their lives.

6. Sex and romance are also very vital aspects. Sex is not about just his needs..it is a union that bring you closer and the more fun you have in bed the healthier I think for your relationship.

7. Doing same hobbies can bring you together. There is an article I read which says \";The couple that plays together stays together.\"; My hubby is a golf lover and I decided to learn the game after we got married. Even though I am not as passionate about it as he is, at least I can play with and we get to walk together which is spending quality time together.

8. Last but not least...enjoy dinner together or a movie as often as you can without the kids. You need to spend time a lone. In-laws and parents are very co-operative in that way...again I am not saying all but most would be delighted to have their grand children spend with them while their parents go out.

So these are few of my secrets of a happy marriage.
