Hi! new moms..
hope ur enjoying ur newborns complete with their sleepy smiles and sleepless nights!!..i know we are!!..a few queries...
O am exclusively breasfeeding my daughter,..she is 3 weeks old now...teh issue is that she does not feed for more tahn 10 min on my breast and seems content after that...msotly she likes to feed only on one breast..
I know the advice is to switch breast at each feeding...it was not the same with my older one who is 6 now..i always fed her on 1 breats at a time and never worried abt how long she fed..and she did fine..
now with teh new advice i worry..ahe had gained good wt at the end of 2 weeks..i worry that too short atime deprives her of teh fat...any suggestions , experiences..
also now she tends to sleep longer...i do try to wake her up very 2-3 hrs but not much success on that front..
also howz the latching on for u guuys,,i am still recovering from sore nipples...
then she has phases during teh day when she feeds every hr or so...
all ideas will be appreciated!

the boys are the same.
my prince does the same.so quit worrying.
they are sleeping now but wait fr a month they will wake up.I think its the calm befre the storm.
anyhow i think most of us are in the same boat so i think its alright.

I too am sailing in the exactly same boat. Reading your msg i felt its the same with me. My daughter is content after feeding for 10 mins & sometimes she is hungry too frequently. DO let me know if you fing some solutions. my baby is 2.3 weeks old today. But on the nipple front i am doing better now. I apply lanolin cream everyday once in morning after bath.
