Hi,
I am travelling to India in dec. with my 5 month baby, what are the health issues we have to take care in India for baby, how to take care if baby gets diahhrea and vomitings, people living in US and who travelled to India with baby, please suggest what products to take with me for baby like tylenol, anti-gas drops etc.

Hi Sujatha,

I recently went to india with my 7 month old daughter.The main concern is mosquito bites,so make sure your baby is fully covered with clothes all the time.Please use Good Night or something like that in the room where the baby sleeps.I took tylenol,Nasal Spray etc.For diahhrea and vomiting my doctor suggested to take some pedialyte bottles.My baby had fever,cold and cough during my visit, I tried to get her to normal for couple of days with the medicine I took then after that i went to a pediatrician,they had to change the medication for her.So keep a list of pediatrician's in india.Make sure you boil the water for formula and cereal.

If your baby eats solids you can take some gerber foods,rice/oatmeal cereal,formula and of course some diapers.Enjoy you trip.
