Sleeping:frequent feeds at night for one yr old!!

Please help! My son is one year old and gets up 5-6 times in the night for a fee. He has dinner at around 8.30 p.m. (roti, dal & curd), sleeps by 10.30 after taking a 20 minute feed. He gets up every 1.5-2 hours for a feed sometimes even sooner. Its so exhauting for me. Do you think he's hubgry, or could it be teething problem? Or what?/ I really need advice. He refuses to take bottle and doesnt take water at night time wakings through a glass.
Please help!

Try to give him/her Milk Powder Feed at Night and whenever he/she gets up give water for atleast 7 days and you will see the diff. If possible make him/her tired from 5 PM onwards by walking playing simple games etc.

Hey

I agree 100% with Sonal they are just comfort feeds. Children do not need night feeds after 6 months of age.
Also it is bad for his teeth. It can cause tooth decay.
Just give her water with cup and pat him back to sleep. After few nights he'll forget it.

Hi,
I can understand your problem!! I think he just has comfort feeds. does he drink much? The dinner that he has should be filling him. Just give him water for couple of nights. If he cries he'll do it for a couple of nights and then stop it. This is my experience.
Hpoe this helps !!!

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
