Due Date Club November 2003:My update

Name: Simmi Hi girls.

Went to see doc after two weeks break this morning. Was reassuring to hear baby's heart beat. Seeing that I had a scare last Monday with pain n no movement nearly whole day. Doc said if it happens again, should speak to the labour ward in the hospital, like I did last week. Hope it don't happen again.

Baby's head is not engaged yet but baby has started moving down. Doc can't tell if the baby would be late, but has asked to come in next Thursday just before the due date for a final check. And only then she will make an appointment with the hospital for induction. So let's see how things go.

v pray the god that u donot hv to gone through induction everything is normal. some time no impovement of baby so v worry for that take rest not over load that`s work

Thank you so much ladies for ur best wishes. I am praying that all of us have safe and normal deliveries on time! God bless all our babies and of course mommies too!

My boss said they have done some collection for me but want to give me vouchers instead of buying things, to avoid duplicates. Very sweet of him, coming from a man, all this organising thing sounds rather nice.

Anyways, have gathered stuff for the hospital bag and got all baby clothes ready for pre wash too. Thinking I should just do a fast wash cycle, what do u think?

Hi Simmi,

I am glad everything is fine with the baby and hope you don't get that scare again.

Good luck with your appointment next week and hope you deliver before your due date and not have to go through induction.

Better start taking some rest as you wouldn't be able to do so once your babe arrives.

good to hear from you , its remarkable u managed to work till now . Without induction i am sure the little one will be in your hands , relax and i wish we can all change the anxiety to some kind of excitement to see our babies

Glad to hear that the little one has started to get ready for the big day...

This is your last week at work right????? dont get too stressed..get lots of rest and Simmi will be mummy very very sooooooonnnnnn... :)

False labour

Hi simmi,
Maybe the pain that u are getting is false labour.What did the doctors.Good to know that your baby's head is moving down.Soon it will be engaged.Let's all pray for each other that we go through normal labour on time without getting induced.
