Hi all,

Hope everyone is enjoying their pregnancy.

I wanted to know if any of you have have gone for u/s and blood tests (measure NT, PAPP-A,AFP, estriol) after 12 weeks specifically done for finding any birth defects in the baby. My doctor has suggested me to go for it. I am in my 11 wk and already had 3 u/s. Just wanted to know if it is common to go for such tests. Please let me know.

Hi there !
My doc also adviced for the same test . I asked some of my friends they all said go for it .
so i am taking them . those will be done in my next visit .Though they have not done a single u/s yet . i will request for one also , if they agree , otherwise they will do it in Nov end .
