Due Date Club April 2004:what to do??

Hey gals ..

I visited my Doc last time thinking that they will do u/s . but u know , they said some policies have changed and they will do u/s only in 20th week i just heard the heart beats using doppler.I just
wanted to know that baby is growing normaly . and for that u/s is a must ...Shall i request them to do it early ??Or what shall i do ?

hi swati, its really funny how we all feel., actually my doctor does u/s more than needed, till now i have already had 3 u/s , one for each visit and iam worried if iam having too many of it, whereas ohon the other hand you feel you are not given any.
i guess the doppler is pretty good too . i think the heart beat is the main thing which shows whetehr the baby is growing normally. so dont worry. in any case if you still feel you need one early you could tell your doctor your concerns and if it could be done early.. once again iam sure everything is fine.

Thanks for the reply I too am thinking to request it in my next visit lets see ..they said they will be doing some blood test also to check some syndrome i am not sure what ..i will ask next time when i visit , its on 28th oct.Anyways we are planning to go back in Nov end and then once in India u can get it done everymonth if u want . so no probs ...only thing is i wud not be bale to record anything . next time i am taking a blank Cst with me to record the u/s .
