Health Issues:Allopathic Doctor in Pune

Name: Mel Hi. I have consulted 2 doctors in Pune. Dr. Hiremath and Dr. Raj Ganacharya. But, we have been unhappy with both. Could anyone please recommend a good Pediatrician in Pune ? We stay in Nyati, Mohammadwadi, so somewhere in the areas of Wanowrie, Fatima Nagar, or even upto MG Road would be fine. Anyone please recommend from your personal experience.

In my opinion a good ped would be one who spends a little time answering concerns, who measures the childs rate of development periodically, inquires about development milestones, and helps the child recover when afflicted with any sickness. While Dr. Hiremath used to check development, and milestones, she never spent time clearing our doubts, and her meds never seemed to cure our son. Dr. Raj is good otherwise, but he doesn' t check rate of growth unless asked, and he doesn' t inform us about milestones.

Hi Mel, I can so understand your message. We have been trying to find a decent ped for my son too. We' ve tried Dr Hiremath, and i felt just the same with her...i' ve tried 2 other doctors as well, but still looking.

Did you have any luck finding a good ped yet?

I am looking for someone who has the time to talk to the parents and the patient, and also someone who does not recomment every vaccine just because they are available.
