Thanks for ur comments on the home cooked veges and on sitting positions. Since Santhosh doesn't sit on his own high chair is not a possibility so I am wondering about the different options.

I too bought just organic carrots and other regular veges...Haven't started any as yet. Today going to start with carrots...I am going to try with Raj's suggestion on going with orange and yellow veges first (carrots, squash, sweet potato) and then green (peas, beans,...anything else??) and then resume fruits( am I right?).
Fruits being sweet gets in faster I guess...Santhosh just doesn't like Rice cereal...got to try oatmeal cereal and see if it makes a diff.

Regarding your Q abt high chair, I right now use either the bouncy or the stroller to seat Yash and feed him , have finalised a high chair but not gettingg time to go and get it. I have seen few highchairs with 3 incline positions and can be used for babies not able to sit without support. You might want to chk it out, tho price-wise it will be slightly on the higher side.

Now abt rice cereal, I tried mixing various veggies and fruits (gerber wala) with rice cereal and Yash likes Rice cereal+applesauce and rice ce + banana(ripe) and oatmeal + squash. I am now giving abt 1/4 cup cereal twice a day for him. He has wasted a lot of cereal before, so just keep experimenting.

He too turned 6 mo on July 26th, upload his recent pics when ever you get some free time. Hows the weather there/ It must be really hot.
