From past a month my baby's milk intake has reduced a lot. Before I used to feed solids just in the mornings and from past a month I made it twice a day. I know it is because of that but I feel there is a lot of difference in her intake for milk from then to now. Is that alright? I'm a little concerned about that. Could anyone tell me for a 6 month old baby's milk intake should be? And if possible a schedule as what and when to feed and anything to make her drink more milk?

After certain age milk is not very imp nutrient for the babies. At the age of 1 year 2 glass of milk is enogh as it gives Vit.D . (no other veg.food contains vit.D) Sunlight also gives rise to vit. d. As we start solid baies intake of milk reduces. So its very natural. Just make sure that u give all the fruits, and veg. soup.

Just see that ur bay is eating balnced diet. Devi, do not worry about milk intake.

baby intake milk should be 24-32oz .if u r feeling ur baby is not taking enough milk then reduce her solids becoz milk is very important for babies either breast milk or formula..

my baby used to have 210ml when she was 3 months old....in her 5th month it reduced to 150mls...now her usual feed is abt 120mls..and after solids abt 80-100mls...

her daily feeding scedule for ur reference is as follows...

wakes up at 8am..120ml formula

massage &bath at 1230..2tbsp cereal +80mls formula

sleeps for an hour..4pm...120-150 formula

8pm 2tbsp cereal +80ml formula

12midnite...150ml formula
