Make - Up:Skin Type is mild oily---Help

I have got a mild oily skin. Infact I dont get much oil on my face often but I do get pimples sometimes. I dont understand what type of a treatment should I give to my skin. I cannot apply the packs which is recommended for oily skin and I cant treat my skin as dry also as I sometimes get pimples. So what kind of packs or cosmetics should I use.
Please somebody suggest me as I really make mistakes in taking care of my skin. I hardly find any care treatments for mild oily skin.

What jo is saying is perfectly right and i do have excatly the type of pdts that will suit yr skin. where are you from??.I would just like to know a lil more abt your skin type before recommending anything.

Combo Treatment for mild oily skin

Hi Rashika,

That is a pretty name. What does it mean?

A lot of people have what is called a T-zone, which is a combination of dry and oily areas of your face.
My suggestion is to use a medicated acne product for your cheeks and forehead for the acne and a light moisturizer (a hydrolized water based lotion, do not use a cream which is oil based) for the other areas.

You can still apply the packs on your face on areas only where it is necessary.

Your choice of products could include: Benzol Peroxide, Alpha Hydroxy Acid, (AHA),
Retinoic Acid, or Lipohydroxy acids. These are not really acids but plant derived products and extracts which do wonders for your skin.
If possible see a dermatologist for an indepth evaluation of the type of product you should use. But before using any product, ALWAYS do a patch test on the inside of your wrist to watch for reactions, and ALWAYS wear Sunscreen or Sunblock on your skin. Make this a habit and you will not be sorry.
