i'm now in 8th month,i heard from my friend that her kid is kicking very often, we both are in the same date.for me i'm not feeling the baby kicking, only in night i feel light kicking.
she knows her kid is male through scanning.

i heard from my relatives, only for male kid you can feel the kick, in case of female kid there won't much kick.

is it so

I have heard a different story, that girls are more active than boys. What I think is each baby is different no matter its a girl or boy. Do not compare ur baby with others. If you feel less kicks, do talk to ur DR. about it. This time around, there is little room for baby to move inside and hence u feel less kicks but its always better to talk to DR. I get lots of movements and not kicks. Baby stretches like anything and it hurts. All joys of pregnancy I guess.

This is my 2nd pregnancy and I can feel the baby kicks very often. With my 1st preg, which was a girl, I couldn't feel the kicks too often and that too very mild. I'm not sure whether it is a boy or a girl this time and only after its born can I be sure about what you say. I too have heard that boys kick more than girls but I've to wait and see.
