Hi folks!
I'm due in around the 1st week of oct. I experience a lot of pain and discomfort in my abdomen. My question is if this is normal at this time. Also I am not able to sleep in the day or even the night time.

Well, discomfort in last 2 months of pregnancy is very common. Some time, as Jyotsna said, it is because of gas. Do take a walk after dinner, which will help you solve this problem. Also try to eat less quantity of food at a time, specially for dinner. Eat 4,5 times in a day. I also have problem sleeping, just because I have problem breathing. Once I sleep, baby pushes upward on lungs. Put 2 pillows behind ur back to lift urself while sleeping. This method has reduced my discomfort.

im a 2nd time mom to be,due 3rd week of oct or earlier..
sleep is elusive as ever but try and make your self as comfortable as possible with pillows etc.Some women find a walk after dinner helps ease most of the discomforts such as heartburn etc although for me by the time dinners done,im tired as hell.
Finding a good position to sleep in is really tough and i usually wake up with dark circles and a grouch.
As for abdominal pain,it could be a case of indigestion as in gas-buildup or a bad posture which triggers off the pain.It may ease if u walk around,shift positions or eat something.
