hi sheetal,sheeja,,
i got intera, and nirja is pretty comfortable in it ! it converts to booster seat, when she will become child ! right now she is on her way to be a toddler and best fits her.
intera is also expensive,,somewhere its 128$,,,
intera is from 8 lbs to 100lbs. which is somwwhere 9 years! and our indian babies dont go that far and last more for us.
priya, i searched for britax, when we talked, couldnt find, so got this one..
where would i find..it would be great if i can carry to flight,,,however,i saw that there are accessories available to carry car seats to the flights on different sites,,to make it easy travelling.

take care

hi Sheetal

Im also thinking to buy car seat. Im soo much confused now. Whats the difference between convertible car seat and booster car seat.

My friend she has 4 yr old boy, she told me that even if we buy booster car seat, that we can use only for 1 -1.5 yrs. thats it. then again we need to buy different type of seat lke base alone for toddlers.

which seat is best to buy??????

HI Sheeja,

as far as i understand, a convertible car seat is the one that can be used rear-facing till the baby is 22 lbs and then, can be converted to be used front-facing. A standard convertible carseat's max limit is upto 40 lbs. After that, you need to get a booster seat which will go up to 100 lbs. However, instead of buying two seats, you get these 3-in-1s that can be used as an infant car seat, convertible and booster.

I am gonna research more and let you know. I need to check britax declathon too - the one priya suggested.

Regards,
Sheetal

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
