Due Date Club December 2005:Gas problem

Name: Siya Hi All,
I am troubled now b severe gas, whether I eat gas producing foods or not. Also my belly looks like it is in the 2nd trimester whereas I have not even crossed the first. Can someone tell me why this is happening? This is my 2nd pregnancy and the u/s has shown only one baby so far. Any input will be appreciated..

Hey thanks for the suggestion, im trying walk every evening for 20 mins. Soemtimes i dont go when im tired. But i will have to cut rice consumption.

Siya, im in Mumbai. And its terribly hot here as well. Even im having lot of fluids. Im also trying to stick to lot of salad and fruit servings, juice, buttermilk! Lets hope we feel better!

Hi Siya and Rids

I am Newyork121 from Nov board. You can take a brief walk for 15 to 20 minutes twice day. (Confirm with your doctor) Also if possible have dinner 3 hours before going bed. Avoid Rice, Beans all heavy food in dinner..
Include fresh vegetables and yogurt in your diet....

Hi Siya, I feel the same way! Feels like my tummy has bloated, especially upper abdomen. Im in the 13th week, and i heard you dont start showing until 5-6 months. At times even i feel like gas. Any inputs, others ?

my upper abdomen is also bloated. is it hot right now, where u live? i live in new jersey and the heat is awful now. i am wondering if that is the cause. i am drinking lot of water and juice, i eat watermelons and have only curd rice at night. i try not to eat any kind of gassy foods but anything that has fiber has gas too!!!! plz let me know if u have found some other miracle cure. i know the ayurvedic dhanvantaram gulika is good but i think that is supposed to be had only after 5 months. can we have it now itself? if so what side-effects will be there? jeez, pregnancy is more difficult than what they say it is!!!!!!
