Due Date Club October 2003:Who has started maternity leave or planning to?

I have started working from home this week so that I don't have to travel as my work is 33 miles from my house.Am planning to go on leave from Oct 4th.But working from home is also getting boring even though I have work to do.
What about anyone else?Anyone else bored ?
When is everyone else planning to go on leave ?

Nice to know that you are working from home. It is a good offer. You can take rest or lie down during lunch time. Good for you. I am planning to take off from Oct 6th and will return back on Dec 1st. So far, I am not getting bored. Probably once I take leave, i might feel bored. I heard that last days during pregnancy will go very slow. Hope we all deliver before our due date. Good luck to you as ur due date is nearing.

I started working from home since yesterday, and will do so until end of next week....that will be end of week 37 for me. I have made that my personal goal to finish week 37 so that it will be a full term berth. I hope God has the same plans for me. I intend to go back to work after next week that is ofcourse if the baby has not made an appearance :-)
While I like the fact that I have the option to sometimes work from home, I absolutely miss the atmosphere at work. I am a workaholic and I hate staying at home all day, but my priority this time around is doing the best for the baby.

The worst part of working from home is all the telemarketing calls...cant wait for Oct 1st when they are supposed to officially stop.

Good for u take rest. My husband is allowed to work from home (lucky u guys)
Anyway work is most relaxed place for me, home i run around working more..
officially have said oct 15th..(if not earlier or later) ..have to hand over my work to a temp. replacement who will join next month. am leaving during crucial hectic time of project so hoping i finish work sooner.
Not bored..and inspite of all this still find time to login to this forum..:)
Hopefully i can work till 15th..lets see. then chutti till dec 31st.
