Hi all,
My son is 2.2 yrs, has been going to a play school cum creche in an area near by my work place. Its been app. 2 months now and his problem is that he s still not settled ther. He is almost ok with the day care but in the preschool he s crying alot. He doesnot want to sit in the class, keeps crying...puts all of them to unrest. Because of all this im also unable to concentrate on my work...Can anybody of u give me any solutions so as how shd i help him settle?/ Infact at home he tells me all what happened in school.
Pl. give me some solution

seek permission from school for this:
start going to school with kid
sit with him there

at first he will stick to u
u ll hv to be like the teacher who is micing with kids and playing

seeing u he might start playing

gradually, leave him alone .. starting with 5 mins.. like going to rest room
tell him u r going to loo and keep ur words ... his confidence that mom comes back/keeps her words is imp
