Dear friends,

Has been so long since I posted so here I go...
Rishu's 6th monthly appt was on July 14th and he is 16 lbs and 26.5 inches tall. He has grown in height (finally!!) into the 50% but his weight has dropped to 25%. He is rolling over a lot so I guess his increased activeness contributes to that.
He is extremely playful to the extent that I start feeling weak playing with him. He rolls over like when you guys roll over at Tirupati Ji (thats what all my sountie friends tell me here!!)When he hits himself against the wall he cries loud as he doesnt realise that the wall cant move over and he needs to change his direction!! He screams and keeps trying to push over the wall till Mom comes to the rescue. Any time his toys fall from his hand or he cant reach out to them he screams..gussa bahut hain or papa par gaya hain.
His recent badmaashiyan are : I was sponging him on the bed when I bent ovver to pick up the phone. He had had his eyes set on the tub of water for a long time so he toppled it over as soon as I bent over! In secs thers was a flood on my bed. Then one day he was rolling over when I was in the kitchen. I have this huge vase near the fireplace. He kept kicking it till it fell over. It quite heavy so I am still shocked as to how he did it!! Then when I came and started putting the flowers back into the vase he toppled it over again!! Another one: I have a small TV in my bedroom and the taar for the TV is stuck to the wall with pins. Rolled over and managed to yank the huge set of taars in his hand and was eating it. Uska rona sunkar I ran to him and I saw all the taars on the floor with the pins too. Got so scared as you can imagine that he could have hurt himself with the pins or even eaten them na! But no Lord was crying as Mr Wall was not moving over when Lord was trying to push it!!
Anyway, in general he laughs a lot. When I put him in the swing and stare at him and tickle him he giggles like mad!His latest tickle points are his thighs and bum-he goes crazy when I even touch him there. Pagal hain ekdum!
Aajkal he wont play without me at all. So I dont get a moment to myself.
Oh feeding him rice cereal is another game by itself. He hates rice and oatmeal and ends up vommitting everything on me. No interest at all. Am frustrated totally and am scared what will happen when I start with veggies next week.
So his feeding both BM and solids still remain an issue. No, he still doesnt take the bottle.
Oh and for those who were asking me abt his sleep sch, guess what.........
IT IS STILL THE SAME!
Let me tell you yesterday's tamaasha: He slept at 11pm we were so happy that we actually saw half an hr of TV (usually sleeps at 12 na) Got up at 11.35 as soon as we tucked ourselves into bed. Puneet patted for 10 mins slept. Woke up at 1 am again and started climbing all over me. Didnt want to sleep at all. Was looking all around. Kissi tarah se I patted him for 1/2 hr then he slept. Looked like he would sleep for 2 hrs at least. Guess what as soon as I went back to my room he was up. Told Pu to get up as I was too tired. Puneet came back all frust in 15 mins saying he wont sleep. So now I go into his room. He plays in the crib for 10 mins happily so I let him. Then starts rolling in to crib trying to get out. Keeps bumping his head and all this at 2am. I was dying. Managed to make him sleep at around 2.45. After which he gets up at 4 again. Then I got him to my bed. He cried his heart out at slept at 6, was up at 8 again. So what do you think- I do think he has a major sleep disorder even though no one believes me. Apart from these 2 major issues he is a happy baby.
I am sleeping as I write. I havent slept in ages. I feel I will become a grumpy old lady soon.

Maha active baccha hein yaar.. Dont complain about not getting time, 'coz i have colleague who complain that their babies, like Zombies, are glued to one toy for hours!!

And guess what.. Kidddo's who speak with K are the fastest/ clearest speakers!! My nephew spoke late (at two) and my bro had to take him for speech counselling.. The lady told me that we can make out if a baby is gonna speak late if s/he doesnt utter K till 1 year or so...

So 3 cheers to Rishu for eing partial with K. Why Ekta Kapoor yar? Shahrukh KHan also has a K fetish na (remember K-K-K-Kiran).

Usko apne bed pe sulao yaar.. So that the moment he even squirms you can pat him back to sleep.. Yeh uthke doosre room mein jaana is a major sleep killer and by the time R will also be wide awake having to cry to get you there...

Aur uske snaps dekhe kal.. Why the bib always?? the bib takes away the charm of any dress he wears.. Agar drool karta hein to hand towel se wipe karo na.. full-time-bib spoils the look... Waise kuch kam shaitaan nahin dikh raha tha.. Got that twinkle in some snaps that clearly shows he's upto something...

I was maha amused with the ones when Puneet was trying to feed him..

Okey.. I need to get back to my work..

Reena replied. Forgot to mention that I feel his ''vocablury'' has increased a lot. He now looks at us straight in the eye and tries to talk to us. Favorite words are all with K ie. Kee kee, kaa kaa and kooh kooh which tells us he is happy. Lagta hain Ekta kapoor ka asar hain ekdum!! I am trying to sign to him too.
