HI Moms,

Yash's 6 mo appt went well, ( he didnt cry much after the shots)
Ht: 29 1/4 in. ( doc surprised, who is so tall in your family? she's asking)
wt : 21 lbs 4 oz
Need to buy convertible carseat for him this weekend.

You all must have read abt it in some replies, Yash has started sitting without support, started doing it from 4th july long weekend, when he was 5 1/2 months old.
Does'nt rollover from tummy to back yet, and not much into rolling over from back to tummy ( actually he's only done it 7 times :-)
He has started talking babytalk, cries \";mummmmm\"; when hungry, his version of kissing is to chew on my nose,and loved his 1st time in the swimming pool.

Talked to his ped abt sleeping thru the night( which acc to her will be 8 hrs stretch), she says YAsh is more that ready. I told her how he wakes up abt 2-3 hrs after I nurse him, and cries like he is sooooo hungry; she said, \"; Look at him, do you think he is not getting enough feed, so relax, try to slowly change him before it becomes a habit\";
So, from today on I will slowly try to help him sleep on his own in his crib. Will keep you all posted on how it goes.
Told her that am not giving him TRIVISOL, she said now that its summer time, its probably ok, she is just concerned if he is getting enough VIT D.

Will take an appt with her for his 9 mo shots befor leaving for India( 24th sep) , it seems there shld be abt 6 weeks gap between the 2 visits, so not worried abt that.

Water : he can drink abt 6 oz of water, but Yash does'nt like water, so still trying to figure what I can mix it with to make it taste good for him.Already tried water + fruit juice, did not work.
He takes sippy cup well( using Avent magic), tried it in his 5th mo itself.

Its a long post, hope you all did'nt get bored.

Wow Yash is surely a big baby! what percentile is he in? he is sitting with out support cool....
Rajju got his 9th month shot(hepatitis B) along with his 6th month shots(poor thing), since we won't be here at that time.
I haven't seen Yash's recent pics.. please post some..would love to see.
