hi archie my doc have call me to admit on 7th dec my latest check up was on 5th dec. coz of my g.d. condition she want the baby in my 38th week. she has decideed to induce or c-section on 7thdec. my baby's movement r stll fine and it's head is in down ward.he is doing well .than why doc is making so early .she is saying that delay will b risky 4 baby is it treue?can i wait 4 some more daays . may b it would followed by normal delivery. my sugar is in control b.p.is 110/70 and cervix is going softer according to doc.it is my 38th week copletion,i want to know why cann't i wait 4 the normal process yet everything is normal what should i do ?is my doc saying is right that g.d. mother cann't go for 41/42 weeks?why should i make early ?i m confuse pls tell me soon chinky

I am sorry to hear all rush, but you are harrying me too.
I don't see reason you getting worried. yes a GD mother can have a macrosomic baby which inevitably will direct you to C-section. I don't know if the decision is absolutely correct or not because I don't know you case indeed as much your Dr. knows.

however I would only say it's safe to deliver at this time. Given that cervix is effacing you have pretty good chanced to have a successful induction.

I don't think at this stage you will suggest anything to your Dr, neither do I recommend to suggest.

So long as your baby is feeding, that' s all that really matters. These days, formulas are packed with everything the baby needs, and although it is never as good as breast milk, it' s perfectly fine.
