Dear All,

Someone please provide inputs on What all precuations needs to be taken before and after IVF-ICSI Cycle, Since we both r staying alone in bangalore, I am little worrried as i have no one who can be with me at this time. I would appreciate if Someone can Share real experience.

Sowmya replied. you should have lots of fruits & vegetbles.Avoid fruits like papaya, pineapple, watermelon and avoid vegetalbles like suvarna gadde.Keep your body always cool.Once in week apply castor oil to your body & take little hot bath.Do normal household.But dont lift weight.You can go for walking.It is very good exercise.

Normally doctor advices about those precaustion, If not then there is nothing special we can do other than taking complete rest immediately after IVF. Ofcourse there are lots of old-wives story like few food/fruits shouldnt be taken during preganancy period which doctors disagree as there is no scientific proof.

I can understand ur situation and even I didnt have anydbody to help during my pregnancy time other then my little sister who is unmarried and really cant suggest anything worth. I know how emotional effect it will have, but I advice you not to loose hope and be positive. Try to search in web about foods that needs to be avoided during pregnancy and act so. But really we dont have to do anything much before IVF. After procedure, try to take as much as vegetables, juicies, fruits, etc. Try avoiding chicken, prawn, crab, etc which may cause excessive heat in body. Also avoid outside foods and eat only home prepared food, this is really important and even doctors advice so.
