I am living in Qatar. My daughter is 4 years old and she born in india. When she was 11/2 old due to her continous cough daughter here diagnozed her with mild asthma and prescribed to give Ventoline inhaler whenever she have cough. We gave her Ventoline continuously during winter because cough is worse that time.

Last year during vacaation doctor in our city in india checked esnophilia test and it was + so she gave other medicine as well as Becolite inhaler to give for 5 months conitnously decreasing dose.

Also ped in India recommended to avoid mild, orange chocolate etc. We obeyed as doctors suggestion. Here in Qatar after stopping Becolite this february. after 1-2 weeks again cough started so we given her Ventoline. during march she was ok almost but in April she started school then she started cotinously cough, fever and nasal block, doctor told to use Ventoline inhaler every 4 hours and also antiallergic syrup. After one week she started again cough and mild fever, when we gone to doctor he diagonsed her with sore throat and given antibiotic,we didn' t give her but after few days again she fell sick so we went to another doctor who diagnosed her with ear infection not throat infection, he given antibiotic (amoxylin) we confirmed it with our family doctor. we started it but no improvement after 5 days we gone to our dcotor he told to take her xray and blood report. in xray he found mild patches of pneumonia, he suggested to wait if antibiotic will give any result for few days. But after few days she got high fever, he started Gentamicin injection (IV) and given Cefixime antibiotic instead of amoxylin.

Next day she become normal. We completed her course (injection and syrup) after one week, she was ok another one week and gone to school happily. But now since one week she has cough(mild) and nasal block and sometimes fever we gone to doctor,We took another xray and found that white patches are gone tremendously and only very minor left. He checked her with otoscope and found mild ear infection and asked me to wait for few days if she improve or not.

Today we found her right eye reddish and some fluid coming out. I don' t know what is going on in her. Should I start another antibiotic now? How long she will be treated with antiobioc or Ventoline or injection. We don' t have family history of such disease. Is it due to school she gets so sick now? somebody suggested Septilin (himalaya)herbal syrup I started it since one week, but I could not see any improvement. She is active normally and also even she falls sick

Pls. help me with a valuable advise.
logic replied. i am sorry to tell you this but your daughter is suffering due to your faults.
You should have given her antibiotics the day the doctor had prescribed her, because of your fault, she is suffering and will suffer.
NEVER EVER STOP ANTIBIOTICS untill their courses finishes, you are only hurting your daughter more.
It seems to me the first you didnt give her antibiotics when she had a sore throat, so it spread to her ears and she got otitis media. Then it spread elsewhere.
it seems to me like she has conjuctivitis.
take the antibiotic and whatever therapy your doctor gives, DONT DISCONTINUE it unless the doctor says.

1) HAve you given her the FLU vaccine on the month of september ???

2) Septlin is helpful but it is mild, it might no' t help your daughter.

Asthma attack - it starts with running nose ,then cold , then cough , the sever cough and then sleepless nights for both of us...I have to give him inhaller...

I have taken few actions , his halth is better now.
a) I have consulted a medicine from Baba RamDev Ji Clinic ..., mix with honey and then give.

b) Stopped giveing him Orange and Banana.

c) Avoid Dust and if possible send her to school by AC Car.

d) Aviod playing in park and sand.

e) Maintain cleaniness at home.
