My child is 9 i/2 months old now. In the last 10 days he' s started sweating a lot. He also suffered from viral fever and tonsilitis in the last week. I thot the sweating is due to the crocin drops i was giving him. But even when I have stopped giving crocin he is continuing to sweat. I live in Mumbai. One paediatrician says he needs calcium syrup as he is growing fast as in he has tripled his birth weight in 9 months itself. He now weighs 9.5 kgs and his birth weight was 3.1 kg. Did any ped give calcium syrup to ur child as he was sweating and growing fast. Please let me know. My son is also crawling and stands up with support of any furniture and stands for 30 seconds without support. Shaily replied. My baby is 16 months old now. He used to sweat a lot while sleeping since he was very young. Even his pillo becomes wet when he is sleeping. We noticed that even when the weather is normal, we are all o.k. but he becomes sweaty. We had discussed this problem with our doctor, he told me that we need not to worry as some babies have high temperature. But i want to ask is it o.k. for a small baby or is it a some kind of deficiency.
