How are you doing ? Do you have any symptoms ? I think you have the pain in vagina right. I too have that pain in the night, i feel the pain in my pubic area, not inside vagina. It pains more when i change my positions. Probably it might be due to change in pelvis and babys head pushing downwards. Did your doctor say anything about lightening (baby dropping). Generally for first time moms it happens any time after 36th week itseems.

Well the only symptoms I have and have been having for the last few weeks are Braxton Hicks and some cramping and pain in the vagina area and heartburn.
Yeah I also feel the same pain in the pubic area not inside the vagina,same like urs specially at night changing position .My doctor said thats because of the baby's head down below.
My doc didn't say anything about baby dropping.I plan to ask her tommorrow at my next appointment.I have read somewhere that if u put the palm of ur hand below ur breasts and the if the palm is parallel to ur spine then the baby has dropped.It sounds more like an old wives tale .For me my 3 fingers are only parallel to the spine ,the others lie on my tummy.
