I was not aware of not eating papaya .Yesterday only i ate it..:)
Well just avoid some things like these only. And eat everything without taking any tensions.

Take care

Hi Sweta
I am a mom of 1 month baby. You should take a lot of calcium products like milk, curd , yogurt etc.lots of green vegetables specially spinach, salads, fruits excluding papaya, and pineapple. You should drink juices. You should not eat things which produce heat until 3-4 months.Don't eat dry fruits in excess. You can eat overnight soaked almonds.Don't take saffron until 7th month.Don't eat til chikkibecause it is too hot.Don't eat too much spicy food and fried food.Eat sprouted moong. My baby is crying. So i got to go.Rest in next mail
Khushi

Sweta,

I mentioned papaya because I heard that raw papaya has something that will terminate pregnancy when taken at early stages. Anyway, better to avoid it.

I think my due date is Oct 21 and i am in 6th week.

Take care,
Anu

Hi Swetha!

I heard that we shouldn't be eating papaya (raw or fruit), pineapple and Mangoes. It is because they increase body heat which is not good at this time. I am not sure about herbs like ginger or saffron. Ginger is good for digestion and i never heard anything negative about that. So I don't think it will cause any problems. Hope this helps!!

Anu.

Hi anu

Thanx for ur reply.
but regarding papaya i read somewhere that its very high in folic acid so u shoud take it during pregnancy. i don't know which one is true but its better to avoid it as u can get ur folic acid needs by ur prenatal vitamins.
Btw when is ur due date. i think mine is on 28th of october and i am in my 5th week.
take care
