Could someone please respond to my query.
I had an abortion carried out recently. Ever since then, from the time of ovulation to the next period, I am having a lot of heartburn and acidity. I never had such a problem before. Could it be because of the abortion. What other symptoms some other people have faced after abortion.

I had it done about 4 months back.

I don't think there should be any such effects of a medically correctly done abortion by a well qualified and experienced gynecologist ! I have undergone one few years ago and didn't even realize or remember it after resting for 2 days !!!
However, you may do the following to curb your problem....
1.If you are on any medication, check if this is the side effect of it.
2.Avoid eating very spicy, very oily/buttery/creamy foods.
3.Take a very limited quantity of tea,coffe and avoid a strong tea/coffee.
4.STOP completely any kind of cola or other artificial/aerated drinks.
5.Space your meals at a regular interval and quantifye them moderately.....frequent, moderate meals are better than few, heavy meals.
\" Breakfast like a king, Lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar!\" ---and drink plenty of water, fresh juices, buttermilk, milk, soup, coconut water etc. 'healthy' liquids inbetween.
