Hi friends,
My only arguement with my hubby is about spending time at my parents place.
Alway i think its too less and my hubby thinks its too much...

I want to ask all the married ladies-
Hiw many days in an year do you spend at your parents place?

[My mil got married when she was 14 and goes to her mom' s place for 2-3 days in an year, so my hubby thinks thats right]

We live in the same State, but My Parents lives 8 hours away from us. As for my MIL and SIL' s family they live 7.5 hours away from us.

Basically, My parents and In-laws lives about 1/2 hour apart from one another.

So....\" How many days in a year do you spend at your parents place?\" --For us, We take a one week vacation every year to see them.

My first night is always at my MIL, the next morning we drive to my parents house......By night, we are at my MIL place, later in the after noon we have to go to my parents. and etc...

It seemed like a lot of driving. But, it' s perfectly okay. *Smiles*

my hubby also wants to follow my MIL' s suggestion that i should go only after 5-6 months that too if it is necessary. my MIL never wantrs me to go home and if i fight against them and go forcefully she wont let me stay peacefully at home. me and hubby will always be fighting over issues. she always creates problem before my going to my parents. But this time i have to go on 7-8th december and she has started plan to stop me from going to my home. But i have told my husband if he wont take me i will go all by myself becoz anyhow they dont have good relation with my parents then why should i suffer. if he odes not want to keep let him stay with his mom

my parents live 25 kms away fr my inlaw' s place. i visit my parents at least once a month for 1-2 days. next time if ur hubby compares ur visits to herm other' s visits then ask him if he is following his father' s timetable totally? if he expects u to adopt mil' s lifestyle then he should first adpot his father' s lifestyle totally.

shiva,if ur mil´ s is weird n doesnt loves her parents then u dont have to follow her footsteps! why should u stop caring for ur parents? if mil doesnt wants to visit her parents its her choice. n u wishing to see ur parents is ur own choice. visiting maika is not trend which should be done exectly as ur mil has been doing. put a stop to this now otherwise they will take over every aspect of ur life in their hands.

Recently my Dad passed away and my mother will be alone. I have made enough money to retire comfortably but because I am used to the American lifestyle I can't live in India.
