thanks for the info. when did u started giving them to kichu & with what did u start off? My boy is around 5&1/2 months old. Right now am giving him tomato juice (made at home). still havent; started solids. should start cerelac.
pl. also let me know how do u make the ragi kanji.
Remember u saying maid is looking after kichu. Hope she is taking good care of him.

At 5 1/2 months you should start Cerelac now. Follow the advice and start with one scoop and progress to 5. Buy Rice with Milk.

Once he settles with Cerelac, start with a Banana (Mash with a fork and remove the 'seeds'). Instead of juice give tomato soup (pulp a de-skinned blanched tomato w/o seeds and then put on heat for a few minutes). I learnt soup from Vani :-)

once you start solids, water and juices are important to avoid constip. Tomato and Mosambi are the best. You can steam an apple and puree it too.. (remove skin and core)

Buy Ragi whole. Soak 2 tbsp for min 3 hours. Grind in mixie and strain through cloth till all the black.brown spots are removed.

Add water and cook for around 5 minutes.. (Taste for rawness). Add Lactogen and Feed. I seriosly don't know wheat prepn.
