There is nothing to worry about these symptons, as everyone suggested these are quite common at this stage of pregnancy.I am in my 31st week and i have similar problems.Take care.
Hi everyone, can someone suggest me more exercises that can be safely done at this time.
Mitra replied. Hi Roops,
I am almost completing my 30th week and all the symptoms you said are very common especially with growing pregnancy. I too have a severe pain in the left side butt, some times it is so severe that it wouldn' t even let me sit/stand or sleep in a particular position. All you need to take care during this situation is, make sure you always sleep on your sides with a pillow between your legs, not on your back, and also make sure to turn on your side and get up very slowly from sitting/sleeping position. To get a temporary relief from this pain we can gently masssage the area where you get the pain and apply either a cold pack or hot pack.
As far as the pain in the feet, it is also very common and I too have this and was told by docs that it is caused becoz of the weight of your stomach which puts more pressure on your legs. You can massage your feet with oil and put them in the warm water to get some pain relief.
Finally I wanted to say that there is nothing to be worried about these pains as these are all very common during the pregnancy.
Roops replied. thanks for the suggestions gals..really appreciate it..will try the exercise that Renu suggested..will also check about any prenatal classes available..I know that Cradle offers some classes, need to check..
all the best to you all..take care..
Renu replied. Hi Roops,
Do you practice yoga by any chance?? If not, there is a small loosening up exercise, which you can try out. Maybe it will help you. Keep your hands on your hips, and rotate your hips five times clockwise, and then five times anticlockwise.
For your foot problem, try massaging it with oil everynight.
Also, check out with your hospital. Normally there is a physiotherapist on board. You can ask him/her about these discomforts. Maybe, they can suggest some simple exercise to help you out.
Hope this helps.
natasha replied. Hi Roops,
Do not worry its is very normal to have these kind of problems during these days, even I have acute pain on my left side butt ( but only in the night and not while I am working during the day) I literally limp while going to the loo in the night( make sure you have a night lamp on as the chances of loosing balance increase during these days )
I am currently not having any vaginal cramps , but yes sometimes do have pain the the abdomen but that is momentary.
My feet are the worst after teh noon , and almost every 3rd or 4th day I have to rush to the parlour after my office in the evening to get a light massage done , believe me it really helps.
Someone suggested me that I should not wear complete flat shoes , rather I should wear a shoe with half inch of heel , this will help in pain .
Take care , and enjoy ur pregnancy as this is the time when u can eat , pamper urself with massages etc, u will have no time after the delivery for these things, so enjoy to the fullest.
Bye ,
