Due Date Club July 2008:Tests in first trimester?

Name: Vimi Hi All! Have your doc/gynaec prescribed any tests in the first trimester - around this time, to ensure that the baby' s development is normal? I' ve just had the ultrasound done in the 6th week. My meeting with my gynaec is due, but when i called her she did not mention any tests to be done before i go and meet her. How about you gals?

this is too early a phase to get a thorough test to b done... ur doc will advice once u visit her ...
at this stage ..jsta routine blodd( rbc,plateletss etc)and routine blood will be doen thats it..
if u have diabetes ...u will be asked to moniter it everymnth ..other wise these tests only
