have a few ques..
1) how is the medela breastpump working for u..before buying just wondering if its heavy/noisy,etc..is it easy to use? do we use it often..am almost 90% sure will buy just looking if i do have other options..and how i will use it at work later.
2) Glad to know ur babies are sleeping in the crib, none of my friends babies did sleep in the crib so was thinking if i should get one now or later esp when u have to get up often to feed them.
3) If u take an epidural do u keep getting backaches..can we really go thru ' labour without one? or differs person to person
4) Any care in ur diet (esp. indian food,spice,etc) while breastfeeding? Any tips there..
5) hoping to get back on my feet in a week or so..MIL says rest for a month..i may not be able to if we are alone, though my husband says he will take a month off.

Have many ques..hope u don't mind...and no hurry whenever u find time..

No prob I am happy to share my suggestions.
Yes its good to have baby sleep in crib or cradle and not next to us. I bought Infant sleep positioner, that gives them the feel of being held while sleeping so they like that. Otherwise also they r in crib all day playing etc.
In Hosp they gave me a free Medella Hand Pump. All the parts are the same, just its manual. Beleive me it was painful (in hands). Then I bought the pump in style, its electric and double breasted. It pumps in 15-20 min. If baby drinks it takes like 30-45 min.
Multiply it by 2 in my case. So I use the pump 90% of the time.
Epidural does have side effects for some. 2 of my frends had bad exp. I was SOOOOO scared they gave me at 3cm itself. No pain after that. Mom said that I cudnt have tolerated the pain.
At 9cm and later u do get pain back but tolerable, I dont think I cud have managed without it. I am happy I didnt have any side effects.
In Diet, lots of milk garlic fenugreek and asafodita. Eat more thats the key
Lot of protein too. MOre nutritious than a pregnancy diet I can say.

Hope i can get up and move around soon too.
was wondering if i should spend so much in breastpump because u cannot return if opened once. (heard in some site) and hoping its easy to use at work too.
I will buy it anyway..even if i don't use now may need it after 2 months when i will back at work.
Thanks for the tips ..hope u r sleeping well and having rest too. I know bleeding goes on for a lonnnng time..take care. Thanks a lot.
