Due Date Club December 2005:Begun Dilation...!!!

Name: Siya Hi Girls,
I went for a checkup today, I am almost 36 weeks now and have begun dilating. I am 1cm dilated now. There are concerns that the baby is small, her current weight is put at 5 lbs. Can anyone advise me on this? Otherwise, the baby is in head down position and the very, very low in the pelvis. Raji, Shazia, Nandini, Ammy... what is news from ur end? Ok, I am hoping delivery will happen sometime in the next 2 weeks atleast. Bye!

just dnt worry.did the dr sy the baby is small?also when has she said u will probably deliver?
my sister and few of my friends had a small baby around 2 to 2.5kg but u see them now in ayears time they are all fat and my sisters baby is actually quite nice now so dnt worry yaar. as long as the baby is full term and u ve apeaceful delivery wt is the last concern as the pead rate children in adiff way.

I have been asked complete bed rest by Dr. Devarajan and I am trying to do just that. The baby being small was a concern but now it seems to be picking up. Also, the doc said that the mouth of the uterus was slightly open. Im trying to rest as much as I can. How is your dad now? Can you send an email to me so that I can save your id? I even went back to your previous posts to find your id but was unsuccesful. I dont sit for more than 10 mins on the comp. You take care and let me know how things are progressing at your end.

Thanks for the tips! I will try to follow them and not get upset. My mom is here now, so I am more relieved. I am just waiting for this baby to come out, getting tense about the labor, even though it is the 2nd time round!!!
